Age restriction for residency

• Can anyone advise me on how we can gain entry into the country. We are both 46 yrs old my husband's skill is on the shortage list but is too old. We have three children two of which is on the critical skills list. We all want to emigrate as a family but sadly I think we are too old to be accepted. Can we get in through the childrens' profession.

  Have you tried looking for employment in Australia? You may be eligible for an employer-sponsored permanent visa if you meet the criteria under exceptional circumstances. Otherwise, your children may wish to apply for a permanent visa if eligible, and you could look at your parent visa options once they are settled in Australia for example.
