Looking For Native Luxembourgish Speakers
-
I am looking for native Luxembourgish speakers to help with research that we conduct at Brand Institute. You might be able to help. Below is a description of what the task entails. If it seems like something you might be interested or if you know anyone who might be interested please email me at [email removed].
Based in Miami, with offices across the U.S., Brand Institute is the premier brand identity market research firm dedicated to the strategic and innovative development of brand names and identities. Each year, we develop hundreds of names for a wide range of high-profile consumer and healthcare products. One of the things we do on most of our projects is Linguistic Screening.
We are currently recruiting native Luxembourgish speakers to assist us in determining associations and pronunciation difficulties among our test names.
A linguistic screen has three main objectives:
1. To identify if the proposed name as a whole has any negative associations or meanings (slang, foul language)
2. To identify if the proposed name as a whole has any other associations or is similar to any existing word
3. To analyze any fragments of the proposed name for any obvious meanings and associations
A typical project consists of about 15 test names, and we compensate our linguistic screeners for their expertise at a rate of $2.00 per test name. We conduct many projects, so you can expect to receive between 8 and 12 sets of names per month. Most of our linguistic screeners say that it takes about 30 minutes or less to screen a set of 15 names, and screeners have a 48-hour turnaround time. We provide a template file (in excel format) and all communication is done by email. Payment is mailed to your address within 5-6 weeks after we receive your completed file.
If you are interested in providing linguistic services for Brand Institute or if you have any questions, please reply to this email or contact Rachel Litus or Karen Wong (305) 374-2500 or check out our website at www.brandinstitute.com
Once again, we would feel privileged to have your expertise. Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
Yuko Kawaura
