antenatal care and giving birth
-
My husband works near Riyadh and i'm to move out shortly, however i find myself worried about getting pregnant and giving birth in a foreign country, without knowing about any of their practices. such as scans and antenatal care, as it would be our first baby etc.i wondered if anyone can shed some light on what i may be able to expect when the time comes. I have also suffered from ectopic pregnancy before and need early scans, is this available?

To scared girl
Im also a foreigner to the kingdom. I fell pregnant four years ago here with my son but went home to give birth. Im back again and 7months pregnant. I asked around and was advised by quite a few ladies to go to dallah hospital. I've been there for 2visits thus far and am very happy with my doctor. The reception at the ob-gynae section is not that good though. We cant seem to get answers out of them for anything without running around the hospital first. I asked them about the husband being with- for normal birth he is allowed in, with a c-section, he waits outside for you. Apparently, husbands are allowed with you in all private hospitals. Hope this helps.
