  • This opportunity involves monitoring internal and external systems for issues, and resolving or escalating internally or externally as appropriate. External clients are a few high profile, high value companies who expect faultless high performance managed solutions. Issues will involve monitoring for problems with equipment such as Nortel, Ceragon, Cisco etc. on ATM and SDH networks, diagnosing issues and either fixing or escalating. A high premium is placed here on documentation – both in setting up procedures for new equipment and also during/after troubleshooting. There is regular contact with UK and Spanish based telecoms companies, especially during connectivity problems. Spanish is an advantage but fluent English is essential.

    This is a fantastic opportunity with plenty of potential for learning, and the company are happy to support job related training courses and seminars. The Company are looking for a highly motivated candidate, there is a large scope for self-learning within the company with plenty of resources available for those who wish to. There are also plenty of opportunities to get into broader ongoing company projects.

    This is a 24 hour 7 day a week role with the shifts Midnight-8am, 8am-4pm, 4pm-midnight, on a rolling six-day-on-two-day-off pattern. Extra allowance is given for working public holidays. Please apply online at www.wemploy.com
