working as a butler or estate manager

• I have a employer who wants to hire me to be the butler or estate manager for a home he is building near Zurich. There would be me and a housekeeper/cook to care for him and his family (wife and little girl). I work in a hotel in the United States and have no idea what a fair wage would be for this job. I would live-in at the house and handle all duties other than housekeeping and cooking. This would include driving and seeing to the home upkeep and gardening (although I'm not sure I would actually do the work myself). Can anyone give me some help with a salary range for this job? I've been assured that work permit is no problem as I would be hired as an employee of the company he owns in Switzerland.
