DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY NEWS ON THE HSMP CASE

  • Hi,
I applied for HSMP in 2005, and at the time, we were given 4 years to live in the UK before we were given indefinite leave to remain. But in 2006, the HSMP rules were revised and the requirements became higher. It was then no longer 4 years, they changed it to 5 instead. Last year I was informed that some people went to court on behalf of the affected HSMP candidates and they won the first half, being the qualifications were lowered. The second half was to be brought to court this year and that's to be on reducing the years back to 4. The thing is no one knows anything and there's not much coverage on the internet about this issue. We don't even know if they've been to court yet.
Would anyone know about this please? Because if it has been reduced, then i'm eligible for an indefinite this year and i can't afford to send my daughter to uni on foreign fees.
