Spouse/Fiancee Visa advice??

  • Hi

There a quite a few things me and my fiancee are confused about with our visa application and we were wondering if anyone could help us.

Firstly we are engaged and living in Canada. He is Canadian and I am from UK. Would it be advisable to get married before we apply?

Also we are both working in Canada in modestly paid jobs. How much money does the UK immigration prefer us to make/have for our application?

Is it OK to apply whilst we are both out of the country? My parents will provide accommodation for us if we are accepted.

    Thank you for your help.

i guess you'd better get marry in canada then in case you decide to move to england i suppose you can ask for permit residence of your hubby it would be easier they can't refuse it 'cos you are married and i think they don't ask your bank statement if you are married
