I think there was never a friendship between americans and germans or there will be. Economic and political interests are the only connection between america and germany. Most americans have nothing to do with germans and most germans also have nothing to do with americans. There is a distance of more than 4000 km between us. Therefore it is unimportant for americans what germans think and it is unimportant for germans what americans think. Is this bad? Nö, that´s good.
