Work Permit Question

• Hello... My husband and I are coming to Spain for 6 months. He is an EU member but I am not. He has a work contract for 6 months and we applied for a residency at the Spanish Embassy in my home country. We received a 3 month valid stamp in my passport stating "family regrouping". Once in Spain I would then get another stamp which would be my residency. For how long...we do not know!
  
  My question is...Can I still apply for this a work permit upon arrival in Spain even if I do not have a job yet? Or must I get a job offer and the company does these papers together with me?
