• 1.Take $20,000 and burn it.
  2. Throw away all your decent clothes, find some old clothes that your dad/mum wore 20 years ago and put them on.
  3. Sleep out in your garden shed in the middle of winter with a gas heater to keep you warm.
  4. Watch 70s TV shows to experiece the current work practices and social norms in New Zealand.
  5. Dink a copious amount of alcohol and then drive.
  6. Go out in the dead of night to get that authentic 'ignored and lonely' feeling.
  
  When you've done that count your blessings that in the morning you can return to your normal everyday life, because thousands of migrants in NZ can't.
