ohhhhh wow, i have not been in saudi long, but have met many foreign women and families here also. Im a foreignor and i do not live in a compund, but have not never had this trouble you have spoken of. I walk alone, enter shops alone, and even take taxis alone. I have found saudi a very friendly country so far and i will continue to stay for as long as i can. Some of the foreignors i know have been here 22 years and also never experienced this.
