What is Average Gross and Net Salary in Holland, Rotterdam?
Hi!
I'm living in The Hague, near of Rotterdam. The salary here depends of the kind of job, the responsability, and the age. In my case, I'm working in a shop 32 h per week. My gross salary is 1.100 Eur and net more or less 980 Eur. Rotterdam, The Hague, ... aren't too expensive. Amsterdam is more expensive. To rent a room or a house is also not expensive. Rotterdam is a big citty in Holland, then is easy to find cheap markets, shops, and places in general. To go out is cheap. The only expensive things I find hier are the electricity invoice (100-200 Eur/mounth), and the health insurance that is obligatory to pay (80-120 Eur/mounth).
Hope that this information can help you!
Greetings,
-Raquel

SAP Consultant
IT developer with 7 years experience should get somewhere around 50000 per year. If you are in SAP, it's much higher. I just got a job in Heerlen in SAP with 3 years experience and it's 48000 per year for me. Hope that helps.

salary too
Hi Everyone,
I'd like to know please for a salary of 2000 gross, how much does it costs actually to the employer with all the taxes and charges?
I am thinking about negotiating my salary as a freelancer (as opposed to an employee), it'd help me to negotiate if I know the rate of the charges in Holland for the employer.
In Belgium or France for instance it's twice the gross salary: the employer pays 4000 for the employee to get 2000 gross.
Thanks!
