• None of your personal belongings pay taxes when coming to Canada at the time of your "landing". If these goods are coming AFTER you become a landed immigrant, you must declare them as "goods to follow".
  
  If you bring things like motor vehicles or firearms, you must ensure that they can be registered to their use in Canada with the proper authorities.
