No worry

• The "Mitfahrzentrale" is really a very German phenomenom. A lot of my friends use it for travelling around - especially since trains are so expensive over here. As for safety - I think you shouldn't worry too much about it. I never heard ANY negative stories on this side. However, it might happen that you get into the car with someone who's driving like a maniac - you know these Germans like to drive pretty fast ;o)
